Following endorsements from KFC, Mama Lemon and so many others, our favorite artiste is now the proud ambassador for Yeo’s, the well-known F&B co. in Singapore.

According to the paper report, Pornsak was chosen because of his “great performance in all areas” and his “humble and easy-going” style draws audience to him and suited the image of the company.

Congratulations again!!!! Looks like we will see even more of Pornsak in the brand new year!

After years of hard work, Food Source is one of today’s most popular TV show in Singapore, and Pornsak is almost synonymous with this programme.

He went through hard work, jumping into the sea, putting his face into a bee hive and even got bitten by crabs just because he puts in the most effort into this great show.

After being a legendary success in ratings and being sold overseas for screening, last Sunday, the show surged to new heights, again.

Pornsak and his Elle Award

A very well deserved win.

After this year’s numerous wins at the Star Awards such as Most Popular artiste and Most Improvement award, the Elle Best Host of the Year Award not only further credits his solid hosting, but also shows that fashion 他也hold得住！

Elle is the world’s largest fashion magazine that focuses on woman’s health, beauty, fashion and entertainment. To win an Elle Award is akin to being endorsed by the ladies and of course, I would imagine, he has to be a fashionista too.

Check out the $80,000 Roger Dubuis watch he wore to the event!

Winning the award boils down to the one characteristic that is so endearing to Pornsak- Hard work.

It is his perseverance in his shows such as Food Source that makes us love him more. And look at his effort to look good for the award, it shows the respect he has for his career, his audience and the Elle Awards.

But I believe you gain true success when you manage to make even real, close friends in such a competitive environment.

Last Friday, Michelle Chong was on Capital 958 to promote her debut movie, Already Famous. Pornsak went along with her to give her support.

On the show, Pornsak played the role as a good pal, filling up sentences for Michelle when she’s overwhelmed, or adding it good words for the new film. It’s almost touching to feel their great chemistry on air.

I applaud the two for keeping it real.

Perhaps, that’s the real ingredient for success- to treat friends around you with sincerity.

Just a look at the past how these two friends have been by each other’s side:

1. Michelle promoted Pornsak in her movie trailer and Pornsak also generously acted his part for her first movie.

2. Pornsak shared his shop for Michelle’s movie opening, knowing how important the occasion is.

3. Michelle was superb towards Pornsak too- rushing to his house late at night, just to give him tips for his first acting scene a couple of years ago.

It’s probably good karma that gave them the success each of them have in their career now, but it’s also fate that brought these two friends together.

If you have been to events where Pornsak was guest of honor e.g. Mama Lemon roadshows, you will know that wherever he goes, the crowd follows! So, if you are heading down to Suntec City next Sunday, do go early or u may regret it!

With the high ratings for Food Source and the popularity of Pornsak, there is no doubt the book will be a success.

He is now what we call the “all-rounded artiste”- he has acted on TV and in the movies, hosted on TV and radio, published a book.

Speak Mandarin Council SHOULD approach Talented Mr Pornsak to be the new ambassador. I am sure with his influence and experience, he can make Chinese COOL again.
